About
Privacy
Djeli works without an account and never asks who you are. This page lists everything the site keeps about you, where it is kept, and how to remove it. Last updated 30 September 2026.
In short
- Reading Djeli needs no account, and no cookie is set unless you use wallet sign-in.
- Your watchlist and portfolio are kept in your browser. A copy reaches our storage only if you sign in with a wallet, and you can delete it at any time.
- Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which by Cloudflare's own account uses no cookies and does not fingerprint.
- No third-party advertising, and no personal information sold or shared. The one promotional card is for Marché Mamou, which has the same owner, and says so.
- The site runs on Cloudflare's global network, so your information is processed outside Québec.
What stays in your browser
These are saved in this browser's local storage, on your device:
- Your watchlist: the listings you star.
- Your portfolio: quantities, and any prices, dates, fees and notes you type in.
- Your choice of light or dark theme.
- A note for syncing: which wallet these lists were last saved for, if any, and whether they have changed since.
- On the account page, which wallet you last connected.
None of this is sent to us unless you sign in. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases it.
If you sign in with a wallet
Signing in is optional. You approve a short message in your wallet: it is not a transaction and costs nothing. Djeli receives your wallet's public address, never its recovery phrase or private key.
Wallet sign-in uses three cookies, sent only to djelimarkets.com and only over HTTPS:
djeli_sessionkeeps you signed in. It holds your wallet address, signed by our server so it cannot be forged, and the page's scripts cannot read it. It lasts 30 days, or until you sign out.djeli_nonceis a one-time code that ties the message you sign to this browser. It is set when you start signing in, lasts 10 minutes, and is removed once you are signed in.djeli_signed_intells the page it is worth asking whether you are signed in. It holds only the value 1 and lasts as long as the session.
While you are signed in, your watchlist and portfolio are copied to Cloudflare's storage under your wallet address, so they follow you to any device where you sign in with the same wallet. What is stored: the two lists as your browser holds them, and when they were last saved. No name, no email address, no IP address. The copy is kept until you delete it.
If your wallet is a smart-contract wallet, our server asks a public Robinhood Chain node to confirm your signature, which sends that node your address and the signature.
Deleting your data
- The saved copy: on your account page, choose “Delete my saved data”. It is deleted at once and you are signed out. The lists in this browser stay.
- The lists in this browser: remove them on the watchlist and portfolio pages, or clear this site's data in your browser settings.
- The cookies: signing out removes them.
- A copy for yourself: the portfolio page downloads your holdings as a file at any time.
Visit statistics and requests
Djeli counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records the page, the site you came from, your country, your browser, operating system and device type, and how fast the page loaded. By Cloudflare's own account it sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not fingerprint. We use the totals to see which pages are read.
Like any website, the server that answers you sees your IP address and browser details. Djeli keeps no log of individual requests. Cloudflare, which runs the site, handles every request to deliver pages and protect the site, and shows us traffic totals by page, country and browser type.
Other services, only when you choose them
- TradingView. Charts are drawn by Djeli. If you switch a chart to TradingView's, their code loads from their servers and they see that request.
- Coinbase Wallet. If you pick it to sign in, its software connects through Coinbase's servers.
- Marché Mamou. Its link tells Marché Mamou that you came from Djeli, and Marché Mamou records that with an order. Its own policy is at commande.marchemamou.com/confidentialite.
- Links to exchanges, regulators and companies: once you follow one, that site's own policy applies.
What Djeli does not do
- No third-party advertising and no advertising trackers.
- No selling, renting or sharing of personal information.
- No email list, no notifications and no profiling.
Where your information is processed
Djeli runs on Cloudflare's global network. Pages are served, and the saved copy of your lists is stored, in Cloudflare data centres in many countries. Your information is therefore processed outside Québec, and may be outside Canada.
Your rights, and who to ask
Under Québec's law on the protection of personal information, you can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and receive it in a usable format. Signed in, you can do most of it yourself: the account page shows how many listings and positions are saved and deletes the saved copy, the watchlist page lists every listing you starred, and the portfolio page downloads your holdings as a file. For anything else, write to the address below.
The person in charge of protecting personal information at Djeli is the publisher of Djeli. Write to contact@djelimarkets.com, or send a message on X to @DjeliMarkets.
You can also complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Changes
If what Djeli keeps changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. See also the terms of use.
