Unclaimed dividends in Nigeria
Pace: claiming unclaimed dividends
Pace Registrars Limited is a share registrar: it keeps the register of shareholders for the companies that appoint it, and pays their dividends. If the SEC's search names it as holding your account, this is how to reach it.
Official website
note Its site publishes lists of unclaimed dividends for some of the companies it registers. Its contact page could not be read when we checked, so no phone or address is printed here: use the site.

How to claim
- Confirm it is Pace: search the SEC's Non-Mandated Dividends Search ↗ by first name and surname. A result names the company and the registrar holding the account. It does not tell you an amount.
- Fill Pace's e-dividend mandate, from its website or by asking it directly. Its site also sends mandates to NIBSS's e-dividend mandate service ↗.
- Submit it through your bank or the registrar, as the SEC's guidance ↗ says. That is what starts the payments coming to you directly.
- If you are told the dividends are too old, the SEC's circular of 5 June 2025 directs companies and registrars to keep honouring claims: cite it by name and date.
Check any firm on the SEC's register of licensed operators ↗ before giving it your details, and never pay anyone a percentage to run the search. Djeli is not connected to Pace and holds no shareholder data. All registrars
